Bungou Stray Dogs Dazai x reader: I missed you
Lights flickered overhead, bathing the abandoned subway tunnel in a dim glow. Not many knew of this particular tunnel but it was one of the Port Mafia’s many haunts. Your footsteps echoed slightly as you trudged along the grimy floor, the tiles long since becoming cracked and overtaken with weeds. Vines lined the dilapidated tunnel and through cracks here and there faint bits of light could be seen trickling in. It appeared Mother Nature was trying to take back what had originally been hers. There was a sort of poetic justice to it you mused, one way or another humanity will leave and all that will be left is nature, just as intended. A few loose strands of hair tickled your face, picked up by the slight breeze trickling through the cracks here and there. As you neared the end of the tunnel your eyes adjusted to the darkness and picked up on a shadow that seemed decidedly out of place. The silhouette was familiar to you however; how many times had you gazed upon his figure, bandages adorning his wrists and arms, and that tan trench coat. “Dazai”, his name rolled off your tongue and you felt a mixture of emotions run through you as the man turned to face around. It’d been years since you’d seen him last. ‘He hasn’t changed a bit’, you thought. “(F/n)!” He exclaimed happily with a huge grin, but you leveled a hard glare at him. “You shouldn’t be here, if Mori finds out it’ll bring nothing but trouble for the both of us.” “What?, I can’t visit my most favorite person in the whole world?”, he grinned but you were quick to call him out. “What do you want Dazai?, it’s been years. If you’re here to meddle in the mafia’s affairs it won’t end well for you”, you said tiredly. His grin vanished, his eyes taking on the familiar cold glint he’d carried during his days as an executive. ‘There you are’, you thought triumphantly. He could put on the childish happy act all he wanted around his Armed Detective pals but you could see right though it, you could see his true self. “I came to warn you, the Agency and local police will be launching a raid on the docks where they believe there are members of the mafia breaking the rules of the permit.” He was taking about the skilled business permit given to the organization by the government as a legal way to conduct their activities. “Make sure you’re not there, they have orders to use lethal force.” You were face to face with him now, staring up into those brown eyes. Searching those icy depths for answers you were frustrated when they revealed nothing. “Why did you come to warn me? You have no obligation to the organization anymore.” He continued to stare down at you for a moment before his hand came up and you started in surprise as it made its way to the top of your head, resting on top of the (h/c) strands. “I failed as a mentor, as my pupil it was my job to teach you how to wield your abilities and my carelessness nearly got you killed.” It was still strange seeing the normally overly happy suicidal man this serious. You said nothing, flashes of the memory he spoke of coming and going. You didn’t remember much, having apparently lost control and nearly decimating the entire city of Yokohama, nearly killing yourself in the process as well. You’d been in a coma for nearly a month after that, your abilities having wreaked such havoc on your body it had nearly destroyed you. Dazai had blamed himself, all of the info being supplied by Chūya. He’d told you about the countless nights Dazai had spent at your bedside when he wasn’t fulfilling his role as an executive. After you’d woken up Dazai had all but disappeared from your life. He’d gotten a new pupil in that time, a promising young ability user by the name of Akutagawa. You couldn’t blame him though, the mafia waited for no one. It made you bitter though, knowing Dazai had replaced you. It made your heart hurt and realizing you’d fallen for your brunette teacher made the sense of betrayal and abandonment even worse, especially when he left to join the Armed Detective Agency. You’d finished your training with Chūya, the ginger knowing better than to bring up your past teacher or his methods. You’d gotten close to the man in Dazai’s absence but he’d never be the man that stood before you. Bringing yourself back to the present you realized the man was no longer standing in front of you, spotting his retreating back further down the tunnel. “Dazai wait!”, you raced after him. You grabbed his wrist, the man turning to look down at you in rare surprise. It was now or never, your emotions getting the better of you. Gripping the front of his coat in both hands you slammed your lips against his, the man standing frozen in shock. Not feeling him reciprocate the kiss shot a jagged bolt of agony through you. You felt your heart break as he pulled away, not looking at you. “(F/n)-“ “Don’t, don’t say anything”, you brought a hand up silencing him. Tears streamed down your cheeks; a mixture of embarrassment, rejection, and anger. As Dazai brought his gaze to your tear streaked face he felt his resolve crumbling. You turned away, swiping angrily at your cheeks in a bid to rid them of the salty liquid. “I’m sorry, that was out of line. Thank you for warning me”, you said bitterly. He said nothing, and steeling yourself you straightened up, pulling your shoulders back and lifting your head. Turning calmly to address him the words died in your throat at the sight before you. A lone tear had made its way down his cheek, the first time you’d ever seen him cry. “Dazai I-“ you were cut off as you went face first into his chest, his arms crushing you to him as he buried his face into your hair. “I’m sorry I abandoned you, I was weak. I couldn’t face you because it was my fault you’d almost died. I should have helped you control your abilities better and I couldn’t accept the fact that I’d almost killed the person who meant the most to me.” You were frozen, arms at your sides as he poured his heart out to you. Dazai wasn’t emotional, Dazai didn’t cry, and yet here he was. It was such a shock you could do nothing but stare at the wall behind his shoulder. You’d never blamed him for the accident; it was your ability, not his. It was your fault, not his. Gently pushing him away from you you grabbed his hand, bringing it up and placing it on your chest, directly over your heart. “I’m still here Dazai, I’ve never held what happened against you. We were both in over our heads.” You lifted your own hand, placing it over his as he felt the strong thumping beneath your skin, lifting those sorrowful brown eyes to meet yours. “It wasn’t your fault, I should have listened to you but my pride got the better of me. I was too arrogant and thought I could control my ability better.” Bringing your hand back down you cupped his face gently, running your fingers along his cheek. “You have no idea how much I’ve missed you Dazai”, your voice cracked and without another word he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you back into him. The two of you stood like that for a while; entwined in each other’s embrace, just enjoying the others company. In that moment, with the sun setting in the tunnel you knew that no matter what happened with the Port Mafia and Armed Detective Agency you would have Dazai and he would have you, just as it should have been all those years ago.

The house shook as a large clap of thunder boomed through the air. With a sigh of annoyance you put the book you had been reading down and hurried to the kitchen, intent on grabbing a few candles because you had a feeling the power would be going out pretty soon.
And you were right, as soon as you grabbed a few the lights flickered several times before the entire house was knocked into darkness. As you lit one you heard a large commotion on the stairs and what sounded like someone falling. Quickly you hurried around the corner only to stop at the sight in front of you. Your younger brother Feliciano was laying on the steps, crying

slight trigger warning: suicide attempts
a/n: *** = time skip
The first time you met stupid, dumb, careless, idiotic, playboy, foolish, irritating, sneaky Dazai Osamu was your first day at the Agency. They had saved you from trouble and requested your labor as compensation. You reluctantly agreed, not really having any other choice. After you arrived, you were informed that you would be under Dazai's care. Typically, Dazai worked with Kunikida. However, Kunikida was asked to work with Atsushi on a special assignment. You obediently followed orders, unaware of what you were getting yourself into.
Dazai instructed you t

“You are...quite magnificent...”
The ropes that bound you felt like claws digging into your skin. You seemed limbless, tied to that chair with your arms and legs all wrapped up in rough fibers, and you only felt all the more helpless when you saw the way he was looking at you.
In his eyes...or eye, rather...you were not a human being. No...you were like...clay. Like a canvas, upon which he would paint a bloody masterpiece. Something malleable, from which he would carve something monstrous. All the while he would be smiling in that sinister manner, maintaining that look which he was currently giving you, as you sat there in the c

Midnight Pursuit [Dark!Walter x Vampire!Reader]
During the lively hours of the morning, people rose from the beds to greet the sunshine. In that same warm light, they carried on with their day, going about their business, socializing with loved ones, and by the time the purple hues of evening tainted the skies, they retreated to their homes. They crawled into the safety of their beds, sleeping away their troubles, resting for the day ahead.
You, however, thrived during the night.
As the moon graced the terrestrial world below it with its heavenly, silvery light, the shadows rose forth from their slumber, wrapped in a dark embrace, save for the slightest hint of movement, upon which the s

“Ow! Stop it! That hurts!”
“Then, hold still.”
“But, you’re pulling my hair!”
“Beg your pardon, miss, but that is primarily your squirming.”
You rolled your eyes, sinking your chin into the crook of your arms, the sleek vanity cooling your heated skin. An assortment of blood-soaked bandages covered the cuts and bruises tearing the delicate vessels of your arms and cheeks. Though not horrendously painful, the constant stings from every opening were enough to irritate you.
Of course, Walter pulling and tugging at your messy, matted locks failed to make the situation any better.

"Thanks so much, Steve, you're an angel!" Castiel tried not to cringe at his manager's choice of wording as he watched her go. She threw one last smile over her shoulder and disappeared through the door. The orange flood lights illuminated her figure a while longer, but with his new, significantly weaker eyes, he quickly lost track of her. Castiel, under the alias of Steve, had made it a habit to accept any hours thrown his way: whenever his manager needed him to stay late and close, or cover for another co-worker, he was quick to jump at the chance. Sure, his job as a sales associate - as he preferred to cal

“Ah!(Name)! You’re back!” Hanji gasped, getting up from her seat at the dinner table, the chair screeched back as she saw Combat Medic (f/n l/n) walk into the mess hall.
